2008 Team RB ConferenceGetting to the conferenceDue to its central location in the United States, Houston is ideal for a conference that attracts a nationwide audience. Most U.S. attendees can count on a travel time of 4 hours or less on a non-stop flight. (Non-stop flights are the greenest way to fly because they use the least amount of fuel.) There are two airports in Houston, each approximately 30-45 minutes from the hotel. Or if time allows, consider taking the train. Flying in?For the most frequent flights, try Continental Airlines into George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Houston is Continental’s hub. If you prefer Southwest Airlines, Houston’s smaller airport, William P. Hobby, is its largest hub. Shuttle service from local airportsSuperShuttle, a shared-ride van service, has ticket counters in both the Bush and Hobby airports. You can make a reservation in advance at: www.supershuttle.com or call 713.523.8888. Driving directions from local airportsThe hotel is located approximately 30-45 minutes from either of Houston’s two major commercial airports, Bush Intercontinental and William P. Hobby. For smooth sailing once you land, print out a copy of our driving directions before your trip. Houston is on Amtrak's Sunset Limited line, which extends from L.A. to New Orleans. The Houston Amtrak station is located in downtown Houston, approximately 20-30 minutes from the hotel.
