Each year we offer RB users in-depth seminars on current issues in their industry, best business practices, and new and upcoming technology tailored to litigation support firms’ needs. For this, the 7th annual conference, we are using technology in a major way to address the unprecedented strain many businesses are experiencing due to the economy:

We are taking this year’s conference online to make it easier for more businesses to attend. Due to this new format, we’ve made some changes to the conference content and schedule. We will not be presenting an RB user-to-user seminar this year, and we are breaking up the typical day of seminars into 2 mornings. (Plus, you’re responsible for your own food & drink.)

In-depth looks at recent RB developments & beyond

The first morning of seminars, Friday, Sept. 25, is aimed at people who use RB8 products and services. These 2 seminars cover what’s new, best business practices, and a few detailed step-by-steps for setting up some of the new features.

What’s New in RB8 will be presented at 10 am Central Time (CT) and last one hour.

What’s New in RB Web will be presented at 11:15 am – 12:30 pm CT.

Saturday, Sept. 26 will include one seminar, aimed at agency owners and managers. This session, Roadmap for 2010 & Beyond, will cover strategic and philosophical issues, as well as new technologies we are working on for future releases. Saturday’s session will be presented at 10 am CT and last one hour.

All seminars will be presented by Yong Lee, OMTI’s president & CEO, and will include his typical depth of industry knowledge, technical expertise, vision for the future, and unique sense of humor. At the end of each seminar, there will be a live chat Q&A session for attendees.

Lower fees for this year’s conference

Due to the lower cost to us of an online conference, we are charging significantly lower attendance fees: $25/session/connection. You can choose to attend any or all of the sessions, and the charge is per computer connection, not per person.

Registration for this year’s conference will be online through PayPal only. Advance registration for sessions is required. Everyone who is interested in RB is welcome to register for any of these seminars. Registration is available now.

Earn continuing education credits

Attendees can earn 0.10 CEUs from the NCRA for each seminar. To qualify, you must register individually with your full name and company name; plus you must sign in online to each session when they begin.

What’s ahead for 2011

The 8th annual user conference will be held online again. Email invitations will be sent end of Sept. to registered users.

Wed., Oct. 20: “New Developments in RB8,”
1-hour session repeated morning & afternoon, 10 am & 2 pm CT

Thurs., Oct. 21: “New Developments in RB Web,”
1-hour session repeated morning & afternoon, 10 am & 2 pm CT

Yong Lee, OMTI President & CEO will present the sessions. We are offering the same session twice daily to accomodate our nationwide clients, so you can attend at a convenient hour in your time zone.

There will be no charge for attending this year’s conference, but you must be registered to attend. The email invitation will include links to the 4 webinars so you can select and register for webinars from the email. After registering, you will receive automatic notices reminding you to attend the webinar(s) you selected.
