OMTI Reading Program contains 112 incremental lessons that non-readers and below-average readers can take at their own pace. In version 2.0, we have added enhanced instructions to many of the lessons. This interactive CD-ROM uses graphics, animation and sound to teach:
	the sound and keyword for each letter of the alphabet, blending letters to form words,

	spelling, and writing.

	To reinforce learning, OMTI Reading Program provides games that test a student's growing knowledge of letters and words.

	It provides lessons in spelling rules and dictionary skills,

and a short history of the English language.		Plus lessons on: suffixes and prefixes; punctuation; consonant digraphs and blends; diphthongs; the six syllable types; singular and plural nouns; the apostrophe and contractions; and sentence and paragraph structure.
