You can add resources to RB in the Entities module, import them from other applications (RB9 only), or on the fly during turn-in.
If you have an existing database of resources in another application, you can import the data into RB via an Excel spreadsheet. See Importing entities from other systems.
In the New Resource window’s General pane, enter the resource’s name:
Type the resource’s name in *Full Name (required).
You can enter the resource’s name 2 ways:
Automatically
Set up preferences for Autofill in System Preferences > Entities > Resources first.
With options
While you can manually enter a resource’s name in the *Full Name field, if you enter their names in the separate name fields instead, you can use the First Name or Last Name filters to limit results when searching for resources. See Searching resources.
You can enter information now or at any time after saving:
To enter details about how resource is paid, see Entering pay information.
When setting up a new resource, RB9’s Pay Info pane defaults Original Term and Copy Term to numbers of days set in System Preferences > Entities > Resources. You can change this resource’s terms at any time, but you cannot leave these fields blank.
