Sending invitations
After entering new contacts or resources into RB9, email them an invitation to RB Connect that automatically includes their login credentials. You can also customize the email to include other information like important instructions and your company logo.
RB9 only
- Connect > Send Invitations
- In the Send Invitations window’s Search By pane, Send To defaults to Contact and Entered Date From/Entered Date To defaults to today. Click
to see all contacts entered today, or select some search parameters to narrow the results before clicking

To invite a specific contact, enter all or part of their name.

Resource
Resource only
To invite a specific resource, enter all or part of their name.
Entered Date From/Entered Date To
Date or date range of when entities were entered into RB9. Change date range, if desired (see Date Navigator).
- In the search results, check the box(es) next to any entity you want to invite or check the box in the header to select them all. (If there is no box next to an entity’s name, that means the entity is missing contact information, such as their email address or login name. Click the hyperlinked entity to add their contact information to their profile. See Adding contacts to RB or Adding resources to RB.)
- Click Send. In the Options popup click OK. If previewing the email (Show Mail Composer had Yes selected), see Emailing from RB.
- Click OK again in the popup that appears when the invitations have been sent. RB notes the success of its emailing for each invitation in the Result column.
