Form Templates’ Layout options let you set margins, orientation, paper size, columns, content breaks, simple backgrounds, and paragraph spacing.

In the New Form/Edit Form window, click Layout:
In the Page Setup popup that appears, enter amounts in inches or use the arrows to increase/decrease the default amounts for outside margins on pages in the template. You can also enter/select other page options in the popup. Then click OK.
Select a paper size from the drop-down.
Select how many columns of text appear on a page from the default listing. Or if you want more columns, or to customize the spacing between columns, click More Columns... Then make selections and/or enter amounts in the Page Setup popup’s Columns tab. Then click OK.
Select background color in the drop-down for the entire page. If there are multiple pages, every page will have the same background color. To use a custom color, click More Colors... in the drop-down; then select/enter values for a custom color in the Background Color popup and click OK.
Select frame location(s) in the drop-down for the page. Each page can have different frame setups, including no frame.
With frame location(s) selected for the page in Frame >, select their color in the default palette. Or to use a custom color, click More Colors... in the drop-down; then select/enter values for a custom color in the Frame Line Color popup and click OK.
With frame location(s) selected for the page in Frame >, select their line width in the drop-down.
Numbers entered in these fields affect whole paragraphs.
With the paragraph(s) selected that you want to set in from the margin(s), enter amounts in millimeters or use the arrows to increase/decrease the amounts:
Left – Set the paragraph(s) in from the left margin.
Right – Set the paragraph(s) in from the right margin.
With the paragraph(s) selected that you want to give extra space around, enter amounts in millimeters or use the arrows to increase/decrease the amounts:
Before – Add space above each selected paragraph.
After – Add space below each selected paragraph.
In any section of the tool bar that has in the lower right corner, click it to access a dialog box of options. You can change multiple related options at once in the popup, then click OK to save your changes.
