Setting RB-PDF Transcript header & footer preferences
RB9 only
Set overall preferences for headers and footers of transcripts created using a particular PDF Transcript profile. Preferences made under Header applies to information that appears at the top of each page. Preferences made under Footer applies to information that appears at the bottom of each page.
Continued from Setting global RB-PDF Transcript preferences or Creating PDF transcripts.
- Scroll or jump to the Header & Footer pane in the Edit PDF Transcript Preference window/Select PDF Transcript Preference window.
- Update defaults and make selections in the Header and Footer sections:

Font Name
Select a typeface in the drop-down.

Font Size
Select a type size in points in the drop-down.

Font Bold
Click to select Yes if you want to use the boldface version of the font selected in Font Name.

Font Italic
Click to select Yes if you want to use the italic/oblique version of the font selected in Font Name.

Left Section/Center Section/Right Section
Each section has 2 fields. In each field in each section, update defaults by:
- Entering/editing text.
- Adding data fields where you want to add RB9 job data by clicking
and making selections in the contextual drop-downs.
- Deleting data fields.

Logo Image Position
Choose an option in the drop-down.

Always print header/footer even if there is no page number in ASCII
Check if you always want headers or footers to print.
- Scroll or jump to the Word Index & Word List pane (see Setting word index & word list preferences) or another pane to update.
NOTE: Header/footer content shrinks to fit
If the contents of a transcript’s header or footer are too long in the selected font size, RB9 will automatically shrink the text size to fit the width of the document.
