Setting cover page & errata sheet preferences
RB9 only
Set preferences for cover pages and errata sheets of transcripts created using a particular PDF Transcript profile.
Continued from Setting global RB-PDF Transcript preferences or Creating PDF transcripts.
- Scroll or jump to the Cover Page & Errata Sheet pane in the Edit PDF Transcript Preference window/Select PDF Transcript Preference window.
- Update defaults and make selections:

Cover Page
Not allowed for PDF/A formats

- Lookup Cover Page – If you want to include a cover page in transcripts created using the selected profile. In the Select a Cover Page panel, any default cover page templates appear in the Form pane. Click a hyperlinked cover page template to select it. Cover page templates are created and stored in Form Templates.
- Remove Cover Page – If you do not want to include a cover page in transcripts created using the selected profile. Use this option when creating PDF/A transcripts.

Show Edit Cover Page screen
To preview/edit the cover page when creating PDF transcripts, click to select Yes .

Append Errata Sheet
Not allowed for PDF/A formats
If you want to add an errata sheet to the end of transcripts created using the selected profile, click
. In the Select an Errata Sheet panel, any default errata sheet templates appear in the Form pane. Click a hyperlinked errata sheet template to select it. Errata sheet templates are created and stored in Form Templates.

Use Header and Footer same as PDF Transcript on Errata Sheet
Click to select Yes to add the header & footer specified in the Header & Footer pane to errata sheets.

Show Edit Errata Sheet screen
To preview/edit the errata sheet when creating PDF transcripts, click to select Yes .
- Scroll or jump to the Digital Signature pane (see Setting RB-PDF Transcript digital signature preferences) or another pane to update.
TIP: Create customized cover pages and errata sheets
Use RB9’s Form Templates to create your own company-branded cover pages and custom errata sheets. You can include your own content, formatting, company logo and merge data fields including various job date formats. See Creating/updating forms & letters.
